History |
The building was originally part of the Glebe belonging to the Parish Church. It was probably stables for the Minister’s horses and associated equipment. The building was subsequently used as a school dining hall and in recent years has been used as a place of worship. |
In 2001 a decision was taken by the small congregation of the Gospel Hall to close. Ken and Veronica Dickson felt that God was calling them to turn the building into a Christian Centre. Over the years it had fallen into disrepair and Ken with the help of other volunteers set about repairing the main building. The kitchen and outhouses were demolished and a purpose built facility has been put in its place. |
A charitable trust called Grace Ministries (Inverbervie) was established and trustees appointed. The Living Rooms was completed in May 2007 and is a testament to God’s faithfulness. The project was embarked upon trusting in God to supply the need. Without fundraising or appeals for money, God has put it into people’s hearts to give generously to allow this project to be completed. |
