Leadership Team

The Living Rooms is overseen by a group of Trustees who are passionate that the love of God, and the Good News about Jesus is lived out and spread abroad in Inverbervie and beyond. They all have many years of experience but are very young at heart!

Ken and Vee Dickson

Pastor

Ken and Veronica (Vee) Dickson

Ken and Vee Dickson both grew up in Kilmarnock and became Christians at that time although they came from very different backgrounds. After they married the Lord led them to Inverbervie and subsequently called them to birth The Living Rooms Christian Fellowship of which they are both trustees. They have four grown up children and three grandchildren.

Ken has overall responsibility for Bible Teaching and Pastoral Care. He also carries out general maintenance on the building and equipment. Vee has a passion for prayer and Bible reading and shares Ken’s longing to see people in the community coming to know Jesus as their Saviour and for those who are sick to experience healing in Jesus name.

Carole Yorke

Carole Yorke

Carole Yorke brightens up our day with her cheery (or is it cheeky) smile and banter. She is a native of Yorkshire but we won’t hold that against her. Carole was previously responsible for organising the rota for the small army of volunteers who worked in the Coffee Shop before closing, and she also has a passion to lead Christians in praise and worship.

Maureen Simpson

Maureen, now retired, originates from the Orkney Island. She enjoys walking her dog, swimming and cycling.

John Merson

John Merson is on the staff of Deeside Christian Fellowship Church near Aberdeen. John is an evangelist at heart and amongst his many activities is prison visitation and running an outreach centre in Tillydrone.

William Harrison

William Harrison is a GP in Aberdeen and also responsible for the Bible Teaching programme at Hebron Evangelical Church in Aberdeen city centre. William is passionate about making God’s word known today and this has been a great blessing to many including students who are attending university in Aberdeen.
